Play it as it lies
Don't move, bend or improve anything around your ball unless a rule allows it.

Yellow stakes — Penalty Area
Ball in water? 1 shot Drop on the line back to the flag, or replay from last spot.

Red stakes — Lateral Penalty
Ball in hazard? 1 shot Drop within 2 club lengths where it crossed — not nearer the hole.

White stakes — Out of Bounds
Stroke & distance. 1 shot penalty AND you must replay from where you last played. Always play a provisional if unsure!

Bunkers — Don't touch the sand!
No practice swings. No touching sand before shot. No resting club in bunker. 1 shot

Lost Ball — 3 minutes to find it
Still lost? 1 shot + you go back to where you played from. If in doubt, play a provisional!

Unplayable Lie — your call
Anywhere on the course. 1 shot Drop 2 club lengths, go back on line to flag, or replay from last spot.

Always place a coin or marker before lifting your ball. Replace it in exactly the same spot.

Free relief! No penalty Find nearest point of full relief — drop within one club length, no nearer hole.

Count every shot honestly. Wrong score = disqualification. Golf is the only sport you referee yourself.

Print on A4 paper. Cut out the card. Laminate in a standard A4 pouch. Cut again. Punch a hole at the top. Thread cord or a carabiner clip through — attach to your bag zip.
